The 4 Inch display on the TinySA ULTRA is touch screen and fairly easy to get to grips with. Tacking down signals, signal generating and testing is easy with this device. The frequency range is huge for such a small device. Calibration is easy, and the 3000mAh internal battery lasts a long time. There’s also an SD card slot. The TinySA ULTRA Spectrum Analyzer [VO.4.5.1] by SeeSii has an official frequency range of 100kHz To 5.3GHz. However, if you read some of the reviews online from end users, some state the range goes much higher. There is a newer model out that officially goes up to 7.3 GHz [the Ultra+]. Both are great devices.

But the one thing that really stands out, the thing that sets the Ultra apart from many other Spectrum Analyser’s is that it can actually “listen” to signals. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack. With a few presses on the touch screen to enable listen mode, audio can be heard from signals displayed on the screen. Headphones or hooking up an external speaker are two quick and easy options to hear what’s going on.
