Nice radio, 10 watts output power, wide frequency range [2MHz – 1000MHz with gaps], good amount of modes, Bluetooth programming etc. However, the HIROYASU HI-E380 seems a little overpriced. That becomes more apparent when you become aware of other radios from different brands, notably the BAJETON BJ-7800 and BAJETON BJ-8300, that have almost the exact same features as the HIROYASU HI-E380 and are basically the same radio. Same software interface, menu’s, features, frequency ranges [but with a few different frequency gaps] and almost everything else.
The only major difference between them is the price. The HIROYASU HI-E380 is close to double the price of the BAJETON BJ-7800 and BAJETON BJ-8300. And I can’t really find anything significant to justify that. For that reason I would not recommend the HIROYASU HI-E380. Instead I would go with either the BAJETON BJ-7800 or BAJETON BJ-8300. They are much cheaper to buy and are practically the same radio as the HI-E380.
